I Haven't Met Him

She asked me how he smelled

I told her like a beautiful Spring day

When the rain has stopped

The world is quiet

The succulent air is clean

And refreshing.

She asked me how he looked

I told her he looked

Like everything I’ve ever wanted

Wrapped in a beautiful package

Of brown eyes

And beautiful skin.

She asked me how he made me feel

I told her like a lion

I could do anything

With him on my side.

Like a queen,

His queen.

She asked me how he looks at me

I paused for a moment

Looked her in the eyes

Gave a glint of a smile

And told her I have no idea

I haven’t met him.
