Silence rips the atmosphere
They said we aren’t really here
But all the forms of life seem to disagree.
The afternoon is very still
But then we all get a chill
As something has forgotten that it is Spring.
The dust has been settled for a very long time
There is no recollection of the crime
Everyone is hoping someday she’ll just forget.
The sun is bright and life carries on
She’s aloof and calm, from dusk to dawn
Then retires the charade to spend another day.
When you look into her beautiful eyes
It makes you think of the clear blue skies
From a distance they could sweep your heart away.
Love the poem. Doesn’t it bother you that in this site there is such a big space between lines?
Yes. The only way around it is to type it into word and put it into WordPress.
It’s always bothered me though.
