A cloak of darkness surrounds me
My mind melds within him.
Arms wrapped around
What was left of ourselves.
Once when I turned to riddles
That turned out to be
My escape.
Unsure of what yours was
But it certainly wasn’t
Enough of a distraction.
Where I carried the silence,
You carried the sound.
Where I was ferocious
Sometimes even caustic,
You were gentle,
Like a Spring rain.
When faced with our destiny,
We happily took hands,
Said vows
And etched them
Into the tiny pieces of our heart
That are now entwined.
Josephine this is so beautiful and such a beautifully written Poem. You are so wonderful.
I love being entwined with you. I Love you my Angel.
