If you can feel, then you can write

  • Like last night

    I want your breath

    On my skin.

I want you to want me

    Only me

    All night.

    I want to find you

    In the deepest recesses

    Of my mind

    And body.

    Traces of you

    In places hidden

    Within me.

  • One phone call and it was over

    Everything we planned for

    A lie.

A few words and we were through

    Your mumbling

    We die.

What did you find in the meantime?

    A woman without a storm?

Did you realize you liked to be single?

Don’t you ever want to be warm?

Did you find a  woman that will please you?

What did you find in this world?

While I was busily planning our lives

You were making sure we unfurled.

What did you find my secret?

Hidden in the corner with dust?

Did you find her because of her beauty

Or was this just a small case of lust?

The thing about you kind of men

Is from her, you will ultimately flee

You may find all the women you like

But you will never, ever find me.

  • I’ve been in solitude for so long

I no longer whisper at night for you.

Haven’t thought of you in so long

I have forgotten what I had hoped you would sound like.

    Where are your eyes?

I need them to find me.

    Where is your breath?

I need you to come take mine away.

    I don’t know who

    Or where

    You are.
